The 6th BBHA Tournament is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 13th, 2001.   

There were 6 teams battling for the title.  The teams this time around were:

For the first time in BBHA Tournament history, there was a trade of players between two of the playing teams.  Read below the first news about the historic event that hit the news wire.

The first trade in BBHA Tournament history waits to be ratified by tournament officials - October 11th, 2001

Yes, you read the headline right.  For the first time in the history of the BBHA and the bi-annual BBHA Tournament, there is a trade on the table in front of the tournament officials for ratification.  It is expected that this ratification will occur before the midnight deadline on Friday, October 12th.  The trade involves Scott Hunter of the Payne Train being traded to The Blues for Matt Clifford.

Well, this is what it is all played for.  The Robin Hood Cup.  A magnificent replica of the real NHL Stanley Cup, this cup is due to grow with many a name over the years as the BBHA continues to play the Spring and Fall classic.  To date, the Fall 2001 tournament is the sixth tournament to be organized and played for the Cup.
